Student leadership is and always has been about more than poster painting, spirit days, and event planning. We all know this to be true, but we have all been met with the challenge of justifying what we do and why it is important.  This session will introduce you to the new AWSL Goals and Objectives that are linked to Washington State's Social Emotional Learning Standards and AWSP's Leadership Framework Criteria. Student Leadership, state standards, AND the principal's framework...a powerful combo to offer support and validity to any leadership program.
