The definition of recognition places it firmly as a noun, or a thing, and not an action. In this session you will see how recognition can be more than just a thing done at schools, that it can be an action done to celebrate and validate the students and staff of your school. Recognition programs and techniques implemented at both the high school and middle school level through leadership classes will be discussed and shared, you will leave this session with ideas and materials you can integrate back into your classroom that will foster the positive culture of your school.
