In the world of activities and athletics, there is a ton to remember, so this session will be packed with information, but will definitely cater towards the questions you have. We will monitor and adjust, just like we do every day back at school. Session 11—Tough and Tender - The Secret Recipe
The most effective leaders are both tough and tender. They can be both kind with compliments and quick with accountability. One major study showed that when people fail to meet commitments, there is less than a 20% chance anyone would approach them honestly. Another study showed how an increase of 18% in effective accountability skills corresponded with an over 40% improvement in productivity. Why is accountability so rare from people entrusted in positions of leadership? This session will provide simple and effective ways that you can lead others through caring compliments and crucial conversations that hold people and yourself accountable to a your mission.
