Session 11— "Speaking with a Passion: A Youth Advocacy Workshop”
Teens are stronger than we think and capable of more than we can imagine.  The students in Parkland, FL demonstrated that using strong emotion to fuel eloquent and effective presentations over the past year.  Young people vary wildly in terms of their public speaking ability, so this workshop aims to discuss the basics of public speaking and youth advocacy.  The goal is to empower students to speak out to make change in their community.  Participants will have a chance to stand up and speak out on a topic they’re passionate about whether it’s serious or silly.
