I am in my 12th year of education, spending the last ten years at Liberty Middle School in Camas, WA. I currently teach three sections of 6th grade English Language Arts, one section of 6th grade Leadership, and one section of 6th grade Fitness, as well as being the ASB Advisor, Co-WEB Coordinator, and Kindness Club Advisor. On top of teaching, I coach track, boys basketball, girls basketball, and various intramurals, as I believe it is important to work with students outside the classroom. My loving wife of nearly 17 years and two amazing daughters are my guiding force in life, always supporting me in my efforts to improve myself and my understanding of all things education. I am a CharacterStrong and AWSL advocate, a TC for Camp Columbia, Secretary for the Camas Education Association, and I strive to make education about the whole child.
